Malea Emma
Actress and Singer
Malea Emma is one of the lead actors in an A24 Film’s feature film, “After Yang”, where she acts opposite Colin Farrell, Jodie Turner Smith, Haley Lu Richardson and Justin H. Min. “After Yang” was just released in theaters and on Showtime on March 4.
It had its world premiere at the 74th Cannes Film Festival and US premiere at Sundance Film Festival 2022 with rave reviews for the movie and also for Malea’s performance. To name a few, The Hollywood Reporter said she played her character with disarming naturalness, IndieWire described her as a buoyant newcomer, and The Up Coming UK said that she played her character very well and it’s a given that she would have a long career ahead of her.
She has also starred in Disney Channel’s “Raven’s Home” and “Coop and Cami Ask the World” and she also has a recurring role in the “iCarly” revival that is currently airing on Paramount Plus.
As a singer, she went viral after singing the American national anthem at LA Galaxy soccer game in 2018 and since then she has been invited to sing the national anthem all over the country at more than 40 events and major sport league games. She was invited to perform on American Idol in front of the celebrity judges (Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan) and was awarded with the Golden Ticket that made her the youngest Golden Ticket holder in American Idol history. She was also invited to sing a duet with the Tony and Grammy award winner, Jennifer Holliday, on Good Morning America.

She enjoys traveling with her family and playing tennis.

Clinical Psychologist Elsa Lau Psychology
Dr. Elsa Lau is a clinical psychologist with a love for ecopsychology and spiritually integrative psychotherapy. Her work is collaborative and trauma-informed in exploring meaning and values-based thriving, blending cognitive science and person-centered, transpersonal perspectives. She especially enjoys working with AAPI, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ folx who seek an affirmative and acceptance-based, intersectional lens. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Columbia University, and has worked in hospitals and community based care. She recently began her own private practice focusing on training for therapists in spiritual competencies and self-care.
Outside of clinical work and consultation, you’ll find Elsa in nature engaged in earth-based practice, play, and advocacy. She is also forever learning about the art of joy and wonder through her two mischievous cats named Gus and Uma.

Lopa Zielinski
EVP, Corporate Secretary, Head of Governance HSBC US and LATAM
Lopa P. Zielinski serves as Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Head of Governance at HSBC North America Holdings, Inc. (HNAH) and HSBC Latin America. She is responsible for all corporate governance matters relating to US Boards and its subsidiaries, and serves as a member of the HNAH Executive Committee. In her role, she also has regional oversight of the entities in Latin America. She is also the executive sponsor for the HSBC US Asian & Pacific Islanders Diversity Committee.
Ms. Zielinski has an extensive background and wide range of experience in corporate governance, board counsel, corporate law and securities and financial regulation. In 2016, she was named to Ethisphere Institute’s Attorneys Who Matter list, in recognition of accomplishments in the legal field in furtherance of ethical business practice worldwide.
Prior to joining HSBC in 2015, Ms. Zielinski served as Director and Associate General Counsel, Corporate Governance for TIAA, a full-service financial services group of companies. On behalf of the boards of the TIAA group of companies, Ms. Zielinski worked to enhance the governance and social responsibility practices of companies held within TIAA’s investment portfolios with the objectives of increasing shareholder value and improving long-term performance of targeted companies. She also provided counsel to the TIAA Board and Committees in her role as Assistant Corporate Secretary. Previously, Ms. Zielinski served as in-house securities and governance attorney for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. In addition, she practiced corporate law in New York and New Jersey and has previous work experience with the NASD and White and Case, LLP. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John A. O'Shaugnessy, in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Ms. Zielinski received her LL.M. in securities and financial regulation from Georgetown University Law Center, her J.D. from New England Law, where she was a managing editor of the New England Law Review, and her B.A. from Lehigh University. At Lehigh, she was named to the NCAA Division I All-Patriot League tennis team. She has also served on the steering committee of the Women in Capital Markets group of the Center for Audit Quality and has served as faculty for the Practicing Law Institute, and Society for Corporate Governance. She is a board member of the United States Tennis Association, Eastern section and also serves on the advisory board of World Savvy, a non-profit organization that is the leader in global competence education.
