All proceeds benefit the Ascend Foundation’s expansive research projects, thought leadership initiatives, student scholarships and the 5-Point Action Agenda.
Agenda
The Venue
The Lake Course was once called “the best in the west” by famed champion Bobby Jones. With forest-lined fairways and spectacular views of San Francisco, the Lake Course is one of the premier courses in the U.S. The Lake Course has played host to countless tournaments and championships, including six U.S. Opens, most recently the first U.S. Women’s Championship in 2021. The PGA of America announced that The Olympic Club will host the 2028 PGA Championship and the 2032 Ryder Cup. This will be the first time the PGA of America will stage one of its pillar events at The Olympic Club, which sports a rich championship heritage having hosted 10 USGA events, including five U.S. Opens, on its famed Lake Course.
